My younger sister is fascinated in downloading any music in the internet. She wants the latest ringtone and music she discovers in the Internet. In fact, she has a ringtone of Rick Ross' hit, "Hustlin." This song by the Miami rapper is the first-ever ringtone which received platinum status in the music industry. According to my sister, about one million people hit this ringtone; that is why it's on top of the ringtone charts. My sister even told me that the ringtone became platinum first before his album did. Isn't that ironic?

I don't know who the hell Rick Ross is, but my sister who is very fond of music told me that he's one of the rising Miami rappers today. She said that his songs are great and she can relate to his music. I don't really like rap music, but I begin to appreciate the guy when I listen to my sister's ringtone Hustlin. I'm hooked with his music as well as his ringtones. I even do research about him in the Internet and I found out that he is six feet two inches tall. He weighs around three hundred pounds.

Last July 28, 2006, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has announced that Hustlin is the first-ever ringtone that hit one million, making it on their platinum hitlist. Rick Ross has even commented that ringtones is one of the means in which he could channel his music to his fans. He is very glad to find out that one million people around the globe carry his hit song Hustlin in their ringtones. He even praised the beauty and technology that ringtones have, saying it can help musicians like him get their music closer to the audience.

Many are wondering why on earth I downloaded R Kelly's song "I Believe I Can Fly." I mean, what the hell you care?! This is my player and I have all the right in this world to download anything that I like. If I want the most non-sense song in my MP3, who are they to complain? They asked if its because of the movie Space Jam, I said partly yes. But seriously, I like the song because of its lyrics which is very inspirational and the message is very enlightening.

While listening to the song, you will realize that you can actually do anything even if those things that seem the hardest. As the famous line in the song goes "I believe I can touch the sky, I think about it every night and day, Spread my wings and fly away." You can reach your dreams even if its hard and impossible. You just have to believe in yourself, strive hard, and focus on what do you want to achieve.

Every time I listen to this song, I feel inspired. I have a lot of things that I want to accomplish in my life, unfortunately, most of them did not happen. I failed, but everytime I hear this song, it gives me an inspiration that I can still do it. It is just a matter of believing in myself, converting my weaknesses to becoming my strengths, and using them to their full potential.

I was listening to my MP3 player yesterday and I found out that some of my songs are very old already. I need to replace them with new songs from eMusic. Incidentally, I heard my friend humming a song from the Black Eyed Peas. Man, they are so cool! I like their songs, all of them! Well, some may not agree with me on this, but they are one of the best groups today. I like the guy named Apple because he's blessed with talents not only in singing but also in writing songs. He is the soul of the group actually. But not everyone knows that because they only see Fergie, the lead vocalist. Fergie is damn sexy but she's old already.

Early today, I switched on my computer and looked for the songs of the Black Eyed Peas. There were a lot of choices, but I only downloaded three songs from their Elephunk album. I downloaded first the song "Where is the Love," which is a personal favorite of mine because of its strong message. Second is "Let's Get Started," because of its very exciting beat. And lastly, I chose "Shut up," since the title itself is my favorite expression whenever someone is talking shit about me. Next time, I will download songs from their Monkey Business album. For now, I will groove to the beat of my latest ringtones.

Guess who are the hottest girls in town? Definitely not the Spice Girls nor Destiny's Child! They are none other than the Pussycat Dolls, and their song Stickwitu is my latest ringtone on my phone. I downloaded the song because I always want to hear their sexy voice especially the lead singer Nicole Scherzinger. I haven't seen the group in person but only on television, and I was so mesmerized with their charm and and sexiness. I want to download the other songs despite my friends teasing me. I just love these sexy and hot dolls! If I can only bring home one of them.

Dressed in a white shirt paired with white shirt, I headed to the supermarket to buy the ingredients for my delicious dinner. When I passed by this store, I heard two kids arguing about their MP3 players. The first kid said that the second guy's ring tones are nothing but shit. I heard that most of his songs are actually songs of my favorite band, Black-eyed Peas. Upon hearing the name of the band, I slowed down. I wanted to hear what would be the reaction of the second kid.

At first, I thought that he is going to beat the crap out of the other guy but he remained calm and just smiled. The first was not contented yet. He continuously blasted the second guy regarding his ring tones, but still he remained calm. After a few minutes, the first kid walked away and the second stayed while listening. I was so curious that I even approached and asked him about it. It turned out that the first kid does not have any MP3 players at all. He was just jealous because the second kid has MP3 while he had none. After that short conversation, I continued walking because my Marinated Shark Steak is waiting already.

I was reading a sports magazine with golfer Tigers Woods when a friend of mine called. I immediately knew he was calling because of my ringtone, Wherever You Will Go, of the band The Calling. Suddenly, I begun to remember this band who sung two of my favorite songs. Of course, these include my ringtone right now and the other band song, Adrienne. I would never how popular the band was back in 2001. People especially the teenagers were cheering for them in their concerts and shows. The last three songs were included in the second album entitled Two. After the disbandment, Alex Band told reporters that he has plans of a solo album. Until now, I haven't heard if there's a possibility of reviving The Calling. It's a good thing I have downloaded their songs. I will not miss them that much.

The controversial Detroit rapper made an undisclosed deal with one of the six companies he sued last October over illegal ringtone sales. Eminem's publishing companies have settled their lawsuit against Colorado-based Cellus US, the lead defendant in a case involving the illegal sales of Eminem ringtones over the Internet. The lawsuit was filed by Eight Mile Style and Martin Affiliated last October in US District Court against five companies, and tacked on a sixth defendant to the case in February. The terms of the Cellus settlement were not disclosed and attorneys for both sides declined to say whether Cellus paid any money to settle the case.

On the other hand, New Jersey-based MyPhoneFiles is close to reaching a settlement, while New York-based Nextones.com didn't respond to the suit and received a court-ordered judgment for $195,000 against it. Eminem's lawyers also said they plan to file lawsuits against karaoke firms that fail to obtain proper licenses.
